Job summary

Carolina Beverage Group is seeking a Full Time Night Shift Warehouse Operator in Mooresville, NC. This role focuses on safe shipping and receiving of raw materials and finished goods, with a 12-hour shift from 7p to 7a and a 2-2-3 schedule, averaging 15 days per month.

You will operate equipment per GMP and safety protocols, manage FEFO/FIFO inventory, and train new hires while maintaining accurate records and a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret in English.
  • Strong attention to detail with math/science aptitude.
  • 1-3 years forklift/Warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operates equipment per GMP and safety policies.
  • Assist in FEFO/FIFO inventory to maintain material flow.
  • Model loads and paperwork handling best practices.
  • Train/mentor new hires as directed by supervisors.
  • Ensure correct packaging for daily production needs.
  • Maintain accurate counts of finished products.

Status: Full Time Night Shift
Hours: 12-hour shift - 7p-7a
Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating shifts (work 15 days a month!)
Summary

This position is responsible for the safe shipping and receiving of all raw materials and finished goods that are received.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Safely operates equipment as stated by company GMP’s and Safety protocols.
  • Assist in setting up and control of FEFO/FIFO Inventory System to ensure uninterrupted flow of product and materials to the various departments of the company as requested.
  • Models loads and paperwork handling best practices
  • Train/mentor new hires as assigned by Supervisors
  • Makes sure production has the correct packaging for the day.
  • Keeps accurate count of finished product.
  • Verifying product is properly labeled with date code, pallet number, state, on hold, etc.
  • Submits daily counts to office at the end of each shift.
  • Maintains a clean and organized warehouse.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with other personnel.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned or required by supervisor\customer.
  • Adhere to and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined in Employee Handbook.
  • Adhere to and comply with quality production and Food Safety.
What You Need to Bring

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records with math and science skills
  • 1-3 years Warehouse/Forklift experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP or other inventory management systems
  • Experience with GMP and/or HACCP regulations
Job Setting

This role is based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Employees will experience varying physical demands throughout the day, including standing for extended periods, walking on occasionally slippery floors, and handling equipment or materials.

Due to the nature of the facility, temperatures may fluctuate based on outside weather conditions including heat and cold.

The work environment can be loud, and hearing protection (ear plugs) is required. Additionally, to ensure safety and hygiene, employees must wear hairnets and refrain from wearing jewelry while on the production floor.

Alcohol is an ingredient in products we produce. We are unable to guarantee specific positions, work schedules or work environments that do not include working around alcohol.

Physical Requirements
  • Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently
  • This position is required to operate a sit down forklift for the entire shift.
  • Periodic standing on hard surfaces.
  • Vision required: distance, close, color, peripheral and depth perception
  • Frequently required to stand, talk or hear, use hands to finger, feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to sit, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
  • Works in a production and warehouse environment, including forklifts, equipment, and damp floors
  • Frequently exposed to working near mechanical parts and exposed to vibration.
