Job summary

nVent is seeking a Manufacturing Material Handler to move and stock materials, pick and deliver to production, and support a fast-paced industrial environment. You will manage inbound and outbound materials, restock supermarkets and lineside racks, and assist production with smooth material flow.

Required are a high school diploma or GED and experience in warehouse or light industrial settings. Basic math, tool use, and the ability to follow instructions are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Warehouse/Material Handling experience preferred.
• Experience following work instructions.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Basic Math Skills required.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Experience in light industrial facilities preferred.
• Capable of using tow motors and lift equipment.
• Some visual verification and manual dexterity required.
• Results-oriented and able to learn material handling functions.

Responsibilities

• Move materials to and from work cells and loading areas.
• Fill requisitions and distribute items to departments.
• Assist with preparation of materials (cutting, labeling, unpacking).
• Assess material availability and alert for outages.
• Prepare finished goods for shipment and packing.
• Receive, store, pick, and distribute materials and tools.
