Job summary

nVent is seeking a Manufacturing Material Handler to move and manage materials across the production floor, support stocking, and prepare items for shipment. The role requires the ability to read work orders, operate basic warehouse equipment, and maintain accuracy in material handling.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, experience in a warehouse or light industrial setting, and strong math and tool-use skills. This is an on-site role supporting our manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in warehouse/material handling preferred or related aptitude.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Basic math skills.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Prior experience in a light industrial facility preferred.
• Capable of operating tow motors, lift assist equipment and other warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Move materials to and from work cells and production areas.
• Fill requisitions or requests for materials and distribute items to departments.
• Assist with preparation of material (cutting, labeling, un-packing) per job.
• Assess component/material availability and alert supervisor to outages.
• Prepare finished goods for collection and shipment.
