Job summary

Wisconsin-Metal-Parts-Inc. is seeking a full-time Material Handler to join the 1st shift. You will organize raw materials, load/unload trucks, and help keep manufacturing cells stocked to serve customers.

Flexible hours and strong benefits are highlighted, with prior forklift experience and good organizational skills valued. The role supports the shipping/receiving team and manufacturing operations. Starting pay will reflect forklift and material handling experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ year forklift experience with a clean safety record.
• Experience in a warehouse or forklift role is a plus.
• Must be a team player who keeps safety and customers in mind.
• Detail oriented and safety conscious with strong organization skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle material moving and staging for machines and work areas.
• Assist in loading/unloading trucks and packing shipments.
• Verify and inspect received goods as needed.
• Assist in preparing, weighing, labeling, and shipping parts.
• Enter raw materials into the system and print packing lists as required.
• Support shipping/receiving team to ensure on-time delivery.

We are looking for a full time material handler to to join our growing 1st shift team to help lead organization of raw materials, loading/unloading trucks for deliveries and customer shipments, and assist in keeping key manufacturing cells staged with what they need to serve the customers!

Starting pay based on prior forklift and material handling experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Material handling (loading/unloading trucks), staging material / parts, for machines and work areas
• Assist in verifying/inspecting received goods
• Scrap handling, and disposal
• Assist in preparing, packing, weighing, labeling, securing parts for shipment
• Assist in receiving entering raw material into system, printing/handling packing lists as needed
• Other day to day tasks as needed to support manufacturing, on time delivery, the shipping/receiving team

Requirements

• High proficiency with forklifts, at least 1 year experience), with zero safety incident record
• Some experience in a dedicated warehouse or forklift role preferred, but not necessarily required
• Must be a team player who keeps the customer and others in mind
• Detail orientated, safety conscious, with an aptitude for organization
• Ability to regularly lift raw material or finished goods up to 40 pounds
• Aptitude for computers, comfortable learning new systems/software as needed
• Able to sit or stand for up to 8 hours/day
