Job summary

Worthington Industries Inc. seeks a Material Handler to move material with forklift/crane to sustain production at our Taylor, MI plant. You will stage material, package finished goods, and assist with machine setup and testing as required.

The role requires physical work, strong hand–eye coordination, and the ability to follow detailed instructions. Starting pay is $20.00/hour with a $1.00 shift differential on 2nd shift; in-person work location in Taylor, MI with potential growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Able to perform physical, repetitive work and stand for long periods.
• Must read and follow detailed instructions and quality policies.
• OSHA safety training completed and forklift/crane licenses obtained.
• 0-6 months prior experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move material around plant using forklift and/or crane to keep production flowing.
• Package finished product for shipping and stage material as scheduled.
• Track orders and tag parts; read bill of material and match packaging.
• Support machine set-up and basic test lines as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain clean, efficient work areas.
