Job summary

Rich Products Corporation is seeking a Material Handler in Crest Hill, IL. You will support shipping, receiving and transport of packaging, ingredients and finished goods, operating forklifts and maintaining safety standards in a very cold environment.

You will follow GMPs, conduct cycle counts, organize materials, and document deliveries in the company system. A high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, basic math and computer skills, and forklift certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Must possess basic math and computer skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• One year or more material handling experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Be able to regularly stand, reach, bend, and move about the facility.
• Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
• Hearing ability to meet manufacturing facility safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Observes all safety rules and regulations including use of PPE.
• Follows GMPs and maintains an orderly, clean work area.
• Operate and maintain forklifts (daily checks).
• Verify deliveries by inspecting materials against receipts.
• Enter delivery/stock data into the system.
• Organize/rotate old materials with new.
• Daily housekeeping and stocking duties.
• Assist inventory with cycle counts.
• Label ingredients and packaging.
• Check production schedules to stage packaging and ingredients.
• Perform warehouse and freezer duties as needed.
• Must be able to operate all forklift equipment.
• Must be trained and recertified annually for forklift license.
• Must be able to work in an extremely cold environment.
