Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Material Handler - Yard at SPM Oil & Gas to safely load, unload, and move materials on-site in Midland, TX.

The role emphasizes timely inventory management, accurate recording, and adherence to standard work and risk assessments. Qualified candidates will have forklift experience and the ability to obtain certification within 30 days, plus proficiency with hand-held scanners and dimensional drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior forklift experience required.
• Must become forklift certified within 30 days.
• Must be able to operate hand-held scanner within 30 days.
• Ability to use identification tools to mark product.
• Ability to read and interpret dimensional drawings.

Responsibilities

• Unload, stock and inventory all deliveries.
• Assist with new orders and cycle counts.
• Read and understand standard work and risk assessments.
• Exhibits equipment and product understanding.
• Counts, weighs, secures, tags, palettize and stacks materials and maintains accurate records of material movement.
• Assist service operations with pulling and picking parts.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.
