Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring a manufacturing support associate at our Ballinger, TX site. The role focuses on providing responsive manufacturing support, handling orders, inventory and safety compliance, and helping teammates to keep operations running smoothly.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, eligibility to obtain forklift and overhead crane certification, and a willingness to work a consistent daytime shift from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer responsive and efficient manufacturing support activities.
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage.
• Assist co-workers and customers.
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas.
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment.
