Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Ballinger, TX, is seeking a Forklift Operator for first shift to support distribution. You will operate a forklift, overhead crane, and related tools to move materials and fulfill customer orders.

Responsibilities include loading optimization, inventory updates in the ERP system, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment. High school diploma or GED and forklift/crane certification eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 18 years old.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift and overhead crane.
• Education – High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience – Warehouse or similar environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform float loading activities to optimize multiple loads for delivery coordination.
• Perform material handling and machine/equipment operation duties safely and efficiently.
• Ensure machine and equipment is operating properly.
• Complete orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage.
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management including daily ERP updates.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Comply with safety requirements and PPE.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
