Job summary

Stryker Corporation in Portage, MI is seeking a Material Handler to support warehouse and manufacturing operations. You will move goods, assist with inbound and outbound shipments, and help ensure inventory accuracy. The role requires basic computer skills, ability to operate material handling equipment, and remote-friendly scheduling options with onsite duties.

A high school diploma or GED is required. The position offers a 2:00pm–10:30pm shift with potential overtime on Saturdays, a $2 shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic computer skills and inventory literacy preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience is helpful.
• Forklift operation experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Under Direct supervision, handles and maintains flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines.
• Provides information for recording movement of incoming and outgoing materials and supplies.
• May operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
• May unpack and check goods against purchase orders or invoices.
• May train others in distribution related tasks.
• May enter information into the inventory management system.
• May work from engineering drawings and/or follow documented assembly/ packaging instructions.
