Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a permanent, full-time Forklift Operator for the 1st Shift at our Arlington, TX facility. (Note: The mention of 2nd Shift (2pm-10pm) seems inconsistent; please clarify if multiple shifts are available.)

BASIC FUNCTIONS & SPECIFIC DUTIES:

1. Complete forklift pre-operational checklist at the start of shift.
2. Stretch wrap pallets.
3. Maintain order in the warehouse (straight rows and proper aisles).
4. Inspect pallets or containers for damage or missing labels.
5. Pull, stage, and load shipments as directed by supervisor.
6. Scan loads and download scanner data.
7. Load finished goods and deliver to shipping or designated areas.
8. Unload trucks.
9. Load components necessary for production lines.
10. Lower down WIP (Work In Progress) products.
11. Coordinate and pull trailers in and out of docks.
12. Perform general maintenance of tractor (refuel, check oil, maintain appearance).
13. Complete dock hitch checklist.
14. Warehouse finished goods as instructed by supervisor.
15. Manage inventory control and rotate stock.
16. Maintain returnable items and pallets.
17. Communicate with other shift supervisors regarding issues.
18. Ensure all shipments are 100% checked.
19. Deliver dye to presses and return to the cage, maintaining the layout of the dye cage.
20. Deliver and check dryers before and after delivery.
21. Monitor bulk-dryer hoppers.
22. Stock incoming dye and coordinate P.O.U. stocking.
23. Prepare and maintain accurate paperwork for shipments and receivables.
24. Maintain operational efficiency and meet TS16949 requirements.
25. Perform housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
26. Train and perform work of equal or lower grade as directed by supervision.

PPE Requirements:

This position requires eye protection, hearing protection, and any PPE specific to the task being performed.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to stand or sit for 8-12 hours, lift up to 40 lbs occasionally and 15 lbs regularly, perform overhead work, and work below waist level.
