The Material Handler is responsible for storing, moving, handling, and distributing materials. They take materials from one location to another and may be involved in extracting and loading materials for transportation. The work environment is highly structured to minimize safety risks, with detailed planning and safety considerations before each job. Formal education is not required, but extensive on-the-job training is provided. A commercial driver's license (CDL) may be needed.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in the steel industry or galvanizing is a plus.
Ability to obtain forklift and overhead crane certification and operate these machines. (Forklift experience required)
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Effective communication skills in English.
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a desire to improve skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
Good organizational skills with attention to detail and time management.
Primarily outdoors in various weather conditions, with exposure to noise, dust, odors, and chemicals. Must have good hand-eye coordination and motor skills. The environment promotes a positive, professional culture aimed at long-term employment.

Pay: From $18.00/hour
Hours: 40-50 per week
Schedule: 10-hour and 8-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed
