Job description

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a permanent, full-time Forklift Operator for the 1st Shift at our Arlington, TX facility. The 2nd Shift operates from 2pm to 10pm.

Basic Functions & Specific Duties:

1. Complete forklift pre-operational checklist at the start of each shift.
2. Stretch wrap pallets and maintain warehouse order with straight rows and proper aisles.
3. Inspect pallets or containers for damage or missing labels.
4. Pull, stage, and load shipments as directed by supervisor.
5. Scan loads and download scanner data.
6. Load finished goods for delivery to shipping or designated areas.
7. Unload trucks and load components necessary for production lines.
8. Lower WIP products and coordinate trailer movements in and out of docks.
9. Perform general maintenance on tractors, including refueling, checking oil, and maintaining appearance.
10. Complete dock hitch checklist and manage warehouse finished goods as instructed.
11. Perform inventory control, rotate stock, and maintain returnables and pallets.
12. Communicate with shift supervisors regarding issues and ensure all shipments are fully checked.
13. Deliver dye to presses, maintain dye cage layout, and manage dryer deliveries and returns, ensuring cleanliness.
14. Monitor bulk-dryer hoppers, stock incoming dye, and coordinate P.O.U. stocking.
15. Prepare and maintain accurate paperwork for shipments and receivables.
16. Maintain operational efficiency and meet TS16949 requirements.
17. Perform housekeeping and other duties as assigned, including training less experienced personnel.

PPE Requirements: This position requires eye protection, hearing protection, and any PPE specific to the task being performed.

Physical Demands: Must be able to stand or sit for 8-12 hours, lift up to 40 lbs occasionally and 15 lbs regularly, and perform overhead and below-waist work.
