Job summary

Tempur Sealy in High Point, NC is seeking a motivated warehouse worker to support production by moving materials with a forklift and preparing items for assembly. This on-site role requires physical stamina and reliability to help meet daily production goals.

Responsibilities include sorting and delivering materials to stations, maintaining a clean work area, and collaborating with teammates to keep the line running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift experience required.
• Stand for 8+ hours per shift.
• Fast-paced manufacturing environment experience.
• Reliable attendance; overtime and some Saturdays may be required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Move materials by forklift from storage areas and/or production areas to various work areas for assembly.
• Ensure materials for production are sorted, verified and supplied to appropriate workstations to meet production schedule.
• Maintain a fast-paced team environment to achieve production goals.
• Move materials/components between floor, pallets, conveyors and/or tables.
• Collaborate with a team to achieve organizational goals.
• Maintain and sustain a clean area/environment.
• Other duties as required by the Department Supervisor.

What You’ll Do Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Moves material by forklift from storage areas and/or production areas to various work areas for assembly.
• Ensures all materials for production are sorted, verified and supplied to appropriate workstations as required to meet production schedule.
• Ability to perform within a fast-paced team environment to maintain monthly, weekly, and daily production goals.
• Move materials/components between floor, pallets, conveyors and or tables.
• Responsible for ensuring production materials are sorted, verified and supplied to appropriate stations or staging areas as required to meet production schedule.
• Collaborate with a team to achieve organizational goals.
• Maintain and sustain a clean area/environment.

What You’ll Need (Qualifications):

• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Frequent walking, squatting, turning, twisting, pushing, bending, etc. in a fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment.
• Excellent attendance-must be reliable and punctual.
• Must be willing to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
