Job summary

Tempur Sealy is seeking a Materials Handler to retrieve mattress components from storage and production areas and deliver them to the assembly line. You will operate wheeled carts, loading components based on BOM or production tickets, while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role requires continuous movement, overhead reaching, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Strong reading, comprehension of procedures, and teamwork are essential to support production goals.

Responsibilities

• Gather mattress components from the storage area and from production areas to the mattress assembly area.
• Push or pull wheeled carts, loading parts based on the Bill of Material or production ticket.
• Frequent walking, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and moving items as part of daily duties.

The employee pushes a wheeled cart up and down the storage area aisles and gathers materials based on the “Bill of Material” or “production ticket” and loads it onto a wheeled cart.
