Job summary

Opus Packaging is seeking a diligent Material Handler in Jackson, MI to ensure timely movement of materials throughout the facility. You will load/unload trucks, move items between storage and production areas, and keep accurate labeling and storage practices.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to operate forklifts, and familiarity with inventory systems. Prior warehouse experience is preferred; first-shift, full-time position with day-one benefits available.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
• Move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and other areas of the facility.
• Ensure materials are properly labeled and stored in the correct location.
• Perform inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
