Job summary
EW Grobbel is seeking an experienced Material Handler to support daily warehouse operations in Taylor and Detroit, Michigan. This role handles shipping and receiving, loads and unloads trucks, processes and fulfills purchase orders, and keeps the warehouse stocked and organized to support operations.
Qualified candidates have 2–4 years in shipping/receiving, forklift, reach truck and pallet jack experience, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and willingness to train on 1st shift for about 90 days.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience
- Forklift, reach truck, and pallet jack experience (certification preferred)
- Experience with inventory and shipping documentation
- Ability to work in a cold environment and lift up to 75 lbs
- Able to stand and walk for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, and electric pallet jacks
- Pick, stage, wrap, palletize, and load products for shipment
- Keep warehouse and dock areas clean, organized, and inspection-ready
- Accurately process requisitions, work orders, and purchase orders
- Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records
- Follow all safety, GMP, and company procedures
- Complete approximately 90 days of training on 1st shift
