Total Talent Solutions in Houston is hiring a Material Handler to support warehouse and receiving operations. The role involves safe material handling, forklift use, and accurate SAP documentation to keep inventory moving efficiently.

Responsibilities include put-aways, pulling parts for production, coordinating external processing, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining safety practices across shifts. This position requires 2+ years in material handling and a solid grasp of warehouse

Qualifications

• Must have material handling experience and able to operate forklifts safely.
• Experience with RF scanners and SAP transactions is preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math for inventory accuracy.
• Proficient in email communication with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and process materials in SAP; document, label, and store accurately.
• Transfer materials to designated locations after Receiving Inspection approval.
• Pull and verify materials for Production Orders based on picking lists.
• Stage materials for external processing including packaging and shipment coordination.
• Perform put-aways and support warehouse organization; conduct cycle counts.
• Identify and resolve stock discrepancies; escalate unresolved issues with Planning/Procurement.
• Assist with NCR tasks including scrap processing and vendor returns.
• Operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and WAVs; follow safety checks.
• Transport raw materials to/from yard and assist with truck loading/unloading.
• Support labeling, wrapping, banding, and uncrating; ensure OSHA/HazMat compliance.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and meet deadlines with multi-tasking across teams.
