Job summary

CSAT Solutions LP in Houston, TX is seeking a Material Handler to support warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. You will receive, label, stock, and ship materials, verify quantities, and prepare items for distribution while maintaining accurate paperwork and a safe workspace.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years in material handling, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Intermediate English and adherence to procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in material handling preferred.
• Able to utilize manual moving equipment including pallet jacks, carts, etc.
• Basic familiarity with computer use required.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervision.
• Intermediate English abilities required.
• Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• Receives and/or ships materials to include packaging, labeling and staging.
• Verifies quantities of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Loads and unloads material.
• Gathers parts/product/materials for issue or distribution to shipping or other cross-functional departments.
• Completes necessary paperwork accurately.
• Performs housekeeping duties; such as cleaning, sweeping and organizing materials to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assists with the transaction of materials in shop floor system.
• Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department.
• May conduct visual mechanical inspection to identify cosmetic issues.
• May use isopropyl alcohol or similar substances to clean products.
• May perform some data entry and filing.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
