Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in material handling.
• Able to operate pallet jacks, carts, and related equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced team with close supervision.
• Intermediate English skills.
• Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• Receives and/or ships materials including packaging, labeling and staging.
• Verifies quantities of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Loads and unloads materials.
• Gathers parts for issue or distribution to shipping or other departments.
• Completes necessary paperwork accurately.
• Performs housekeeping duties to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assists with transactions of materials in shop floor system.
• Ensures compliance with ISO 9001 or other quality systems.
• May conduct visual inspection for cosmetic issues.
• May clean products with isopropyl alcohol or similar substances.
• May perform data entry and filing.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
