Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pick, scan, label, move, stage, replenish, and stack products to fulfill customer orders.

• Package, band, shrink-wrap, and label products per customer specifications.
• Inspect incoming/outgoing products to meet quality standards.
• Verify product quantities and shipping documentation for accuracy.
• Identify and report damaged products, inventory discrepancies, and equipment issues.

HIRING IMMEDIATELY: MATERIAL HANDLER IN HOUSTON, TX

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Material Handler to join our team in Houston, Texas. This individual will be responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, staging, and inspecting products while ensuring orders are handled accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• $18.00/hour
• 1st Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm
• 2nd Shift: 3:00pm to 11:00pm
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• Located in Houston, TX

Duties and Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, scan, label, move, stage, replenish, and stack products to fulfill customer orders
• Operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Package, band, shrink-wrap, and label products according to customer specifications
• Inspect incoming and outgoing products to ensure orders meet quality standards
• Verify product quantities and shipping documentation to ensure order accuracy
• Identify and report damaged products, inventory discrepancies, and equipment issues to leadership
• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and company policies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment
• Assist with building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned
• Support warehouse performance, safety, and quality objectives
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Stand up forklift experience required
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Basic to intermediate math skills for counting inventory, verifying quantities, and handling products
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
• Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience (6 months preferred)
• Current or prior Material Handling Equipment (MHE) certification preferred
