Job summary

Pretium Packaging in Cleveland, TN is seeking a Material Handler to support production by ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies. You will transport and supply materials, operate forklifts, and keep work areas clean and organized in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a material handler or in a related role preferred.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Transport and supply raw materials and finished goods as directed.
• Receive and ship items, including loading/unloading trucks via lift truck and/or pallet jack.
• Prepare move tickets and store raw materials and supplies in predetermined warehouse locations.
• Supply production with raw materials as required and return goods to the warehouse as needed.
• Qualify as authorized lift truck driver.
• Maintain good housekeeping in assigned areas.
• Work is performed in accordance with standardized procedures and instructions.
• Conform to all safety and housekeeping standards.
• Follow Plant specified job specification and task list.
• Must be able to work assigned shifts, including working overtime and attending after hour meetings as needed.
• May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
