Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking a Material Handler to support production flow by moving materials and supplies, loading and unloading items, and preparing move tickets to enable uninterrupted manufacturing.

This role requires forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with onsite work in Tennessee.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a material handler or in a related role preferred.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Transport and supply raw materials and finished goods as directed by move tickets and/or verbal instruction.
• Receive and ship items and products as required, including loading, and unloading trucks via lift truck and/or pallet jack.
• Prepare move tickets and store raw materials and supplies in predetermined warehouse locations.
• Supply production with raw materials as required and return goods to the warehouse as needed.
• Qualify as authorized lift truck driver.
• Maintain good housekeeping in assigned areas.

Material Handler

We are hiring for a Material Handler to join our team. As a material handler, you will be responsible for the production process by ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport and supply raw materials and finished goods as directed by move tickets and/or verbal instruction.
• Receive and ship items and products as required, including loading, and unloading trucks via lift truck and/or pallet jack.
• Prepare move tickets and store raw materials and supplies in predetermined warehouse locations.
• Supply production with raw materials as required and return goods to the warehouse as needed.
• Qualify as authorized lift truck driver.
• Maintain good housekeeping in assigned areas.
• Work is performed in accordance with standardized procedures and instructions.
• Conform to all safety and housekeeping standards.
• Follow Plant specified job specification and task list.
• Must be able to work assigned shifts, including working overtime and attending after hour meetings as needed.
• May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
