Job summary

Sharps Medical Waste Services is seeking a Material Handler in Allentown, PA to support daily waste processing operations. The role involves moving materials, keeping work areas clean, and assisting with core plant functions. Training is provided and uniforms are supplied.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, sanitation, or labor is a plus (0–2 years).

Responsibilities

• Load and unload autoclave carts and box waste safely and efficiently.
• Move carts through tipping and cart washing equipment.
• Clean containers and equipment using pressure washing tools.
• Inspect carts and containers for cleanliness and damage.
• Weigh box waste and accurately record processing information.
• Bale cardboard and assist with loading trailers for shipment.
• Keep work areas, unloading zones, and equipment clean and organized.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
