Job summary

Sharps Medical Waste Services in Texas is seeking a Material Handler to support daily waste processing operations. You will safely move materials, assist with autoclave tasks, keep areas clean, and help with core plant functions while training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload autoclave carts and box waste safely and efficiently.
• Move carts through tipping and cart washing equipment.
• Clean containers and equipment using pressure washing tools.
• Inspect carts and containers for cleanliness and damage.
• Weigh box waste and accurately record processing information.
• Bale cardboard and assist with loading trailers for shipment.
• Keep work areas, unloading zones, and equipment clean and organized.
• Perform general housekeeping and facility cleanup tasks.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Track and document daily processing and production volumes.
• Work closely with team members to support daily operations.
• Assist with process improvements and special projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
