Job summary

Sharps Compliance, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler I to support daily waste processing operations, move materials between stations, and help maintain a clean, safe work environment.

The role includes training, uniforms, health benefits, and opportunities for growth within a stable industry. The position requires the ability to lift heavy loads, work overtime and weekends as needed, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 0-2 years warehouse, manufacturing, sanitation, or labor experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds and push/pull loads up to 200 pounds.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload autoclave carts and box waste safely and efficiently.
• Move carts through tipping and cart washing equipment.
• Clean containers and equipment using pressure washing tools.
• Inspect carts and containers for cleanliness and damage.
• Weigh box waste and accurately record processing information.
• Bale cardboard and assist with loading trailers for shipment.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Track and document daily processing and production volumes.
• Work closely with team members to support daily operations.
