Gasser Chair Company, a leading manufacturer of premium seating, seeks a dependable Material Handler to move materials across our plants and support production schedules. You will ensure the right materials are available at the right time and collaborate with shipping, inventory, and production teams to maintain accuracy and flow.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, prior material handling or warehousing experience, forklift certification (or willingness to obtain), and strong attention

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in material handling, warehousing, or logistics preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain certification).
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Move materials safely to production or storage locations.
• Receive, inspect, and report discrepancies of shipments.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and update ERP transactions.
• Stage and replenish materials at workstations per schedule.
• Load and unload trucks and verify shipments.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment safely.
• Document material movements in the ERP system.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE.
• Identify opportunities to improve material handling.
• Communicate shortages to production and logistics teams.
