Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation in Ohio seeks a Material Handler to move materials across the site, load/unload trailers, and document movements in the inventory system. The role operates on a B-Shift (3:20 PM - 11:30 PM), Monday to Friday, with emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions. Training provided; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must follow written and oral instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong service and quality focus with initiative to resolve issues.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency with computer applications, including MFG Pro.

Responsibilities

• Move material between raw, WIP, finished, shipping, receiving and manufacturing areas.
• Unload/load trucks and verify materials against documents.
• Document material movements in the Inventory Management System.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycles counts and discrepancy correction.
• Condense warehouse space and maintain good housekeeping.
• Participate in safety, quality, and 5S activities.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and coordinate with shifts.
