Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Material Handler at our Mentor, OH site to move materials across raw, WIP and finished goods areas. You will unload/load trucks, document movements in the Inventory Management System, and support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and housekeeping.

Safety, quality and teamwork are core to this role. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, 3+ years in manufacturing, and proven reliability; willingness to train, cross-train and work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Move material to/from raw, WIP, Finished, Shipping, Receiving, and manufacturing areas.
• Unload/load trucks/tankers with incoming/outgoing materials; verify documents.
• Record material movements in Inventory Management System.
• Support inventory accuracy with cycle counts and discrepancy corrections.
• Assist in maintaining housekeeping and optimize warehouse space.
• Perform duties safely and report unsafe conditions.
• Contribute to quality and productivity improvements.
• Communicate information to appropriate departments for smooth operations.
• Participate in 5S housekeeping and recycling initiatives.
