Job summary

S&C Electric Company is hiring a Material Handler to transport materials within our manufacturing facility and support production teams. The role uses stand-up forklifts, Raymond drivers, and Oracle ERP to track inventory and orders.

Candidates should have 1–3 years in material handling, forklift certification, and strong attention to detail. The position offers an hourly base pay and overtime opportunities, with room to advance through training and hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of demonstrated experience in a material handling or related role within a manufacturing environment.
• 1-2 years' experience operating a powered industrial vehicle to move material with zero incidents.
• 1-2 years' experience loading/unloading trucks using Stand-Up Forklift.

Responsibilities

• Operate PIV equipment (stand-up forklift, Raymond forklift) to move materials within the facility following safety policies.
• Utilize Oracle ERP to process purchase orders, check quantities, locations and receiving history.
• Maintain certifications, training, and compliance with company policies and environmental rules.
• Meet department targets and uphold quality and safety standards.
• Assist with accurate order quantities and assist with packaging MRP orders.
• Handle hand tools and precision instruments as required.
