Job summary

ATI in Cudahy, WI is seeking a Material Handler on second shift (11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.). This role supports shipping, receiving, and warehousing to ensure on-time production.

Responsibilities include unloading with crane/hand-operated equipment, verifying packing slips, moving materials, packing shipments, and completing paperwork. Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of material handling experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Knowledge of shipping and handling methods.
Minimum 1 year material handling experience.
Forklift experience preferred.
Overhead crane experience preferred.
Warehouse and inventory control experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Use crane and hand-operated equipment to aid in unloading trucks.
Open all packages once unloaded.
Check incoming supplies with packing slips and purchase order to ensure accuracy.
Drive and operate ATI equipment in performance of the job.
Move incoming supplies and material to proper storage areas.
Pack products in boxes, crates or on pallets to conform to specifications.
Band products and weigh shipment and attach shipping instructions.
Check shipment for correct materials, packing and crating, tagging and handling instructions.
Complete necessary paperwork.
