Job summary

Priefert in Mount Pleasant, TX is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support production and shipping operations. You will read orders, pull materials, verify items, and load orders for shipment while maintaining accurate inventory and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include tagging containers, moving materials with pallet jacks or manual methods, and cross-training across departments. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, with emphasis on reliability and teamwork.

  • Locate materials on production orders and deliver accurately.
  • Maintain in-process inventory at work centers and fulfill pick orders.
  • May assemble product containers or crates.
  • Manually lifting up to 50 pounds; cross-train in other departments.

  • Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
  • Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
  • Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or using pallet jacks, forklifts, and/or trucks, tractors, Overhead Cranes and other equipment.
  • Contribute to orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.
  • Picks, verifies, packages, and loads orders for shipment using provided documents and/or work orders.
  • Picks material needed for work orders in various Departments and delivers to the accurate
  • Locate materials and supplies by correctly pulling and verifying items listed on production orders.
  • Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
  • Inventory control, and accurately fulfill pick orders as required.
