Wabash in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Material Handler to support our production floor. You will operate forklift and other material handling equipment and help move, store, and disburse parts, materials, tools, and supplies.

Training is provided to operate heavy vehicles, and tasks may include checking inventory, stocking lines, and assisting in various departments as directed. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Formación

• High school degree or GED required.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Able to pass PIV (power industrial vehicle) training.
• Basic reading, writing, math, and verbal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Owning and helping improve our performance in Safety, Quality, and Delivery.
• Maintaining and reporting daily receiving and shipping activities.
• Reporting defects and needs for repairs.
• Keeping lines stocked with the proper materials.
• Performing additional work as assigned by the supervisor or coordinator.
