Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler in California to support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility. You will use hand trucks, conveyors and other equipment to pack, scan, kit, and count products, while verifying orders and labeling items with a handheld scanner.

Adhering to the 7S program, you will keep the work area clean and safe, contributing to a seamless supply chain. This role may require lifting up to 50 lbs and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents.

Responsibilities

• Support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility.
• Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment.
• Perform duties that may include packing, scanning, kitting or counting products.
• Verify orders, label products and use a handheld scanner.
• Adhere to the 7S program.
• Maintain a clean environment at all times.
• Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members.
