Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc in California is seeking a Material Handler to support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility, using hand trucks, conveyors, and a handheld scanner. The role requires attention to safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Typical shift is Tue–Fri 12:00pm–08:30pm and Sat 08:00am–04:30pm; candidates must be 18+, capable of basic math, and able to read safety instructions. One year in a warehouse and flexibility for overtime are preferred.

Qualifications

• To be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, with or without a calculator.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents.

Responsibilities

• Support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility.
• Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment.
• Perform duties that may include packing, scanning, kitting or counting products.
• Verify orders, label products and use a handheld scanner.
• Adhere to the 7S program.
• Maintain a clean environment at all times.
• Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members.
