Responsibilities

• Receive, store, cycle count, and ship product in line with productivity, quality, safety, and attendance standards.
• Unload, put-away, sort, label, pick, pack, replenish, and audit cycle counts.
• Prepare shipments and boxes; perform housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.

Headquartered in Miami, Florida, with service centers in London and Singapore, DASI is a truly global partner, serving customers’ parts and inventory needs in more than 140 countries.DASI is embracing the potential of online sales and their digital marketplace, which has been growing exponentially and has tremendous potential with the right technology team in place to support and take it to the next level.Purpose:At DASI, the role of the Material Handler is to ensure that warehouse materials are adequately packaged/preserved to meet Customer and/or DASI delivery requirements.Key accountabilities:Perform tasks associated with the receipt, storage, inventory cycle count and shipment of product, while meeting productivity, quality, safety, business conduct and attendance expectations.Comply with policies, guidelines and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, OSHA and Hazardous Material requirements in the storage, handling and movement of product.Report inventory discrepancies of his/her findings or any inventory related variance to their lead/supervisor.Stocking of all incoming shipping and warehouse supplies.Functions may include, but are not limited to unloading, put-away, sorting, labelling, picking, packing, replenishing, cycle count auditing, shipping, making boxes, etc.Perform necessary housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.Responsible for other special projects or duties ass assigned.Key skills and competences:Meet productivity, quality, safety, and attendance requirements, including overtime as required.Must be self-motivated.Demonstrates pride in own work.Ability to perform light to moderate lifting.Be able to operate warehouse vehicles and material handling equipment.Can work in a team environment.Experience and qualifications:High School Graduate or GED- Required.Experience with domestic and international regulations is a plus.Knowledge of carrier computer systems such as FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc is a plus.Haz Mat training is a plus.Knowledge of computer hardware and associated software (i.e., inventory management, and MS Office)Forklift experience.
