Job summary

DASI, LLC. in Miami, FL is seeking a Lead Outbound Inspector – Level 4 to ensure outgoing Expendable and Rotable aviation parts meet customer requirements and our QMS.

You will document inspection results, manage packaging, assist workflow, review purchase orders, and support continuous improvement with the Quality Assurance team; forklift work and data input are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years aviation parts experience preferred.
• Experience with order processing and RMA flows.

Responsibilities

Headquartered in Miami, Florida, with service centers in London and Singapore, DASI is a truly global partner, serving customers’ parts and inventory needs in more than 140 countries.DASI is embracing the potential of online sales and their digital marketplace, which has been growing exponentially and has tremendous potential with the right technology team in place to support and take it to the next level.Purpose:At DASI, the Lead Outbound Inspector – Level 4 is responsible for ensuring that all outgoing material (and the related paperwork) meets the customer requirements and quality inspection standards in accordance to DASI’s Quality Management System (QMS).Key accountabilities:Perform inspections, checks, and sample procedures of outgoing Expendable and Rotable parts and components used in the aviation industry.Perform review of physical attributes, quantity, and records for release.Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing.Assist with organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.Inspect and identify material and related documentation as prescribed by the purchase order/sales order or contract specifications highlighting any non-conformance or omission.Responsible for ensuring that outgoing shipments are adequately packaged, preserved, and meet DASI quality requirements.Operate forklifts as required to retrieve material from storage racks that have either been sold or to store material that will be sold in the future.Comply with ESD (electrostatic discharge) requirements when either shipping or receiving ESD material.Enter, verify, and validate the accuracy of data input into the DASI database.Process material returned by customers (RMA) for non-conformances and notify inside sales personnel accordingly.Process pick tickets for pending sales orders noting any discrepancies identified.Issue DASI material certifications as required.Work with Quality Assurance department in continuous improvement projects.Perform all other duties as assigned.Key skills and competences:Focus on delivering exceptional customer service.Ability to perform audits.A pro-active team worker with warehouse experience ideally in an aerospace related business.Ability to be flexible, responsive, and enthusiastic.Able to cope well under pressure and resolve issues and problems using their own initiative.Able to work effectively to tight deadlines and targets.Results driven, taking pride in achieving objectives.Ability to work in a fast-moving environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Able to liaise with all levels of the organization.Experience and qualifications:High School Graduate or GED- Required.Minimum 2 years Aviation Parts experience is required, particularly processing AOGs.Experience with sales and repair orders.Experience leading a team.Minimum 2 years job related experience is preferred.ISO and/or AS Quality Standard knowledge- a PlusComputer literate.Demonstrate a professional style.DASI, LLC. and group companies are an Equal Opportunities Employer
