Job summary

DASI, a global aircraft inventory partner, is seeking a DSF Material Handler for its Plant City, FL operation. You will ensure proper packaging and preservation of warehouse materials to meet customer delivery requirements.

Responsibilities include receipt, storage, cycle counting, and shipping, with a focus on productivity, quality, safety, and attendance. The role supports a team environment and may involve forklift use and material handling equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Experience with domestic and international regulations is a plus.
• Haz Mat training is a plus.
• Knowledge of carrier computer systems such as FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc is a plus.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and inventory management MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, cycle count and ship product while meeting productivity, quality, safety, and attendance targets.
• Comply with policies, procedures and regulations including OSHA and Hazardous Materials handling.
• Report inventory discrepancies to lead/supervisor.
• Stock incoming shipping and warehouse supplies.
• Perform unloading, put-away, picking, packing, replenishing, cycle counts, and shipping tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; assist with special projects as needed.

Purpose: At DASI, the role of the Material Handler is to ensure that warehouse materials are adequately packaged/preserved to meet Customer and/or DASI delivery requirements.

Key accountabilities:

• Perform tasks associated with the receipt, storage, inventory cycle count and shipment of product, while meeting productivity, quality, safety, business conduct and attendance expectations.
• Comply with policies, guidelines and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, OSHA and Hazardous Material requirements in the storage, handling and movement of product.
• Report inventory discrepancies of his/her findings or any inventory related variance to their lead/supervisor.
• Stocking of all incoming shipping and warehouse supplies.
• Functions may include, but are not limited to unloading, put-away, sorting, labelling, picking, packing, replenishing, cycle count auditing, shipping, making boxes, etc.
• Perform necessary housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
• Responsible for other special projects or duties as assigned.
