Job summary

Johnstone Supply is seeking a Material Handler/Driver to receive, load, stock, and ship HVACR products with a focus on accuracy and safety.

The role includes operating forklifts, delivering to store locations, and maintaining vehicle and equipment in good condition. A valid license, forklift certification, and basic warehouse experience are required; English proficiency is essential for safety and communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1+ years of truck driving or 1 year operating Johnstone equipment under supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with RF scanners and inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and stock products safely using forklift and manual handling.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, entering items into the ERP system.
• Drive company vehicles, maintain route schedules and safety according to DOT standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
• Support inventory counts and warehouse maintenance tasks.
