Responsibilities

1. Receive goods from suppliers and customers; ensure goods are accounted for as per the packing list; report discrepancies to purchasing; notify vendor and/or carrier of any damaged shipments.
2. Package goods securely for transportation; box or palletize; ship to customers; maintain records of all shipments.
3. Familiar with common material handling equipment; forklift operation experience preferred, training available if needed.
4. Make pickups and deliveries using company vehicle to suppliers and customers.
5. Adapt to changing priorities as customer demands evolve.
6. Lift up to 50 lbs.; regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, and move within the facility.
7. Work environment includes shop and office settings; exposed to noise, dust, and odors.
8. Maintain attention to detail.
9. Report to the Shipping Manager.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel; UPS/FedEx software experience is a plus.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
