Role Overview

The primary role of the Logistics Specialist involves loading/unloading tires, warehouse storage, and timely customer delivery, including staging products at customer locations. The LS must represent TireHub professionally, maintain safe driving practices, deliver excellent customer service, and foster strong customer relationships.

Compensation & Schedule

- Starting wage of $20.00/hr, with increases after 90 days, 180 days, and 1 year.

- Monday through Saturday, fluctuating day shifts.

This position reports to an Assistant TLC Leader.

Responsibilities

  • Distribute tasks across warehousing, delivery, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Load, unload, inspect, and tally tires.
  • Follow safety standards and operate equipment safely.
  • Conduct inventory counts and labeling.
  • Handle cash transactions (COD).
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
  • Complete maintenance logs and ensure policy compliance.
  • Participate in ongoing training and perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of general work experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with a minimum 2-year driving history.
  • Must be 19 years or older.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift/move tires up to 50 lbs.
  • Physical ability to bend, twist, lift, and work at heights up to 35 feet.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and navigate with GPS.
  • Maintain forklift certification and valid driver’s license.

Working Conditions

  • Physical activity including lifting, standing, walking, and climbing.
  • Potential handling of hazardous materials and use of protective gear.
  • Work in various environments, including warehouses and customer sites.
  • Extended hours, including nights and weekends, may be required.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

  • Expertise in moving tires with/without mechanical assistance.
  • Experience in warehouse product placement.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Required: Driver's License
