Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is seeking a Material Handler to unload donations and move goods to production areas at our Port Orchard facility. The role involves sorting donations, maintaining production flow, and assisting with forklift duties if certified according to Seattle Goodwill standards.

Pay rate is $17.13–$19.00/hour DOE, with a warehouse environment and physical requirements such as lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• No prior experience required for entry-level material handling.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Unload donations from containers and move goods to production areas.
• Sort donations into appropriate bins for processing.
• Provide smooth flow of goods to the production floor.
• Operate or assist with forklift when certified per Seattle Goodwill standards.
• Maintain donor tallies and a clean work environment.
• Communicate effectively with teammates and supervisors.
