Job summary

Standard Air in Pittsburgh is seeking a diligent Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver to support warehouse operations and provide backup delivery services. The role involves unloading using forklifts, receiving stock, picking orders, loading vehicles, and ensuring accurate paperwork.

Strong organizational skills and teamwork are essential. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, forklift and driving experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and reach up to ~7 ft with ladders.
• Must use pick ladders, push carts, hand trucks and related equipment.
• Driver's License required.
• Forklift experience required.
• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Delivery driver experience a plus but not required.
• Must read information from a handheld computer (3.5" screen).
• Stand and walk for an 8-hour shift.
• Must work well in a team and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight using forklifts and other handling equipment; inspect for damage.
• Receive product into stock against open PO; verify packing lists.
• Put away product to stock bins.
• Pick customer orders and branch transfers with high accuracy.
• Load delivery vehicles and provide accurate paperwork to drivers.
• Label shipments per posted scheme.
• Adhere to inventory control measures.
• Clean warehouse areas daily and remove trash as directed.
• Act as backup delivery driver as needed.
• All other tasks as directed.

Standard Air is looking for an ambitious, hardworking, detail oriented professional to join our Pittsburgh Team as a Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver!

In addition, serve as back-up Delivery Driver, as needed.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

• Unload freight shipments utilizing forklifts and other material handling equipment (MHE). Inspect all shipments for damage.
• Receive product into stock against open Purchase Orders. Verify packing lists, raise issues to Procurement Department.
• Put away product to stock bins
• Pick customer orders and branch transfers with a high degree of accuracy utilizing forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Load delivery vehicles and LTL shipments. Provide accurate paperwork to drivers.
• Label shipments in accordance with posted scheme.
• Adhere to all inventory control measures.
• Clean warehouse work areas before closing each day. Consolidate and removetrash from building as directed.
• Act as a backup delivery driver as needed.
• All other tasks as directed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and reach for product from ground level to approx. 7ft high utilizing pick ladders as necessary.
• Must be able to utilize pick ladders, push carts, hand trucks (dollies) and other pick assisting equipment.
• Driver's License required.
• Forklift experience required.
• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Delivery driver experience a plus, but not required.
• Must be able to utilize hand-held computers and read information from a 3.5\" screen.
• Must be able to stand and walk for a full 8-hour shift.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must have organizational skills and attention to detail.
