Watsco, Inc. in Lafayette, LA is seeking a Driver/Warehouse Associate to manage HVAC freight delivery and warehouse inventory. You will load, transport, and stock merchandise, verify orders, and assist with invoicing and daily forklift operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires prior cargo van driving experience, strong customer service, and strict safety adherence. You will collaborate with a dynamic sales team and support orderly, safe facility conditions.

Competenze

• Minimum 24 months of verifiable, current experience driving a cargo van.
• Ability to multi-task and work within daily deadlines.
• Knowledge of common carrier (LTL) and full truckload logistics.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service.

• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
• Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
• Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer traffic.
• Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one's regular job duties.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for all other duties as assigned.

• 6 months warehouse experience including forklift operation.
• Knowledge off HVAC and truckload logistics a plus.
• Highschool diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
