Job summary

Iconex, a Morristown-based manufacturer, seeks a Material Handler to keep production lines moving by ensuring material flow and accurate inventory. You will operate forklifts, stock presses, and maintain records to support on-time delivery of quality products.

This role involves a 12-hour rotating shift, safety-focused procedures, and collaboration with production teams to meet schedules and production goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Forklift certification/experience in a manufacturing or warehouse.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk on concrete floors.
• Basic computer and math skills for inventory and production reporting.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety and on-time production support.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and clamp trucks to load/unload, move materials, and stock presses.
• Keep production machines stocked and prepare supplies for operators.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through work orders, pick slips, cycle counts, and transfers.
• Perform basic forklift maintenance (propane bottles, fluid checks) and troubleshoot transfer issues.
• Keep receiving, raw material, and production areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow safety policies and reporting protocols to ensure a safe work environment.

Shift: This is a 12-hour shift, Rotating schedule 6:45am-7:00pm

Your Impact

As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in keeping our production lines running smoothly. By ensuring accurate inventory, timely material flow, and safe equipment operation, you’ll directly support efficient manufacturing and on‑time delivery of high quality products to our customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Safely operate forklifts and clamp trucks to load/unload trucks, move raw materials, and stock presses.
• Keep production machines stocked with materials and prepare supplies for operators to meet production schedules.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through work orders, pick slips, cycle counts, and transfers.
• Perform basic forklift maintenance (propane bottles, fluid checks) and troubleshoot transfer issues.
• Keep receiving, raw material, and production areas clean, safe, and well‑organized.
