Ascentek in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations. You will safely receive, store, move, stage, and ship materials, maintaining accurate inventory using WMS and ERP systems, and assisting with production schedules.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, forklift certification, 1–4 years experience, and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Experience with WMS/ERP and handheld scanners is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, unload, and store incoming materials using forklifts and other equipment.
• Move materials between warehouse, storage, and production areas.
• Pick, stage, and prepare materials for production orders and shipments.
• Verify quantities, part numbers, and inventory locations accurately.
• Maintain inventory records in WMS/ERP systems and perform cycle counts.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of the work area and comply with ISO/quality standards.
