Job summary

OBE is seeking a Materials Handler to keep the department clean, orderly and safe while accurately recording data. The typical schedule is Monday-Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm, with duties centered on inventory organization and material movement across the facility.

You will follow directions from the Production Supervisor, assist with picking, and return items to proper locations, contributing to efficient production and a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Follow all safety policies & procedures as a prerequisite to employment.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Able to write and do basic math.
• Basic computer skills or willing to learn.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Must be able to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Listen and follow the direction of the Production Supervisor, and take guidance from senior team members
• Assist with the physical organization of inventory
• Return inventory items to the proper locations
• Assist materials handlers with picking items required for production
