Job summary

PPG in Thomasville, NC is seeking a Material Handler for the Day shift (8:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday) with starting pay of $21.50 per hour. You will ensure a quality product is available when needed, directly impacting customers and communities.

Responsibilities include warehouse work: receiving, storing, and distributing materials, loading/unloading trucks, reading schedules, and moving items with a forklift. Ability to lift 50 pounds is required and prior warehouse experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products.
• Load and unload products to and from delivery vehicles and storage areas.
• Read production schedules, orders, and requisitions to determine items to move.
• Move materials from receiving to storage or other areas.
• Sort and place materials on racks or bins by size, type, color, or code.
• Operate gas or electric powered forklift to move, stack, load or unload materials.
