Job summary

Novolex is seeking a PC Helper in Mt. Vernon, OH. The role supports production and distribution by moving, storing, and delivering materials safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include receiving finished products, operating forklifts or pallet movers, and ensuring lines are supplied with materials throughout the shift. Candidates must meet safety standards and complete required training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Work overtime as required.
• Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
• Commitment to stay safe and to continue to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the receipt of all finished products.
• Safely operate all material handling equipment including forklifts and/or pallet movers.
• Support the materials handling process for production related materials.
• Daily monitor all lines, anticipate, and supply each line with all materials (including raw materials, boxes, poly bags, pallets, etc.) that will be needed throughout the shift.
• Interact with machine operators on a daily basis in order to be able to anticipate any needs that they may have.
• Maintain an orderly and organized warehouse.
• Develop, revise, and review documentation for all materials related activities.
• Weighs pallets and scrap when applicable.
• Unload, load trucks, or stage trucks as necessary, or directed by the supervisor.
• Examines finished pallets before pickup and distributes materials.
• Other duties as assigned
