Job summary

The Wasserstrom Company, a leading Food Service Distributor based in Columbus, OH, currently has a Material Handler position in our Phoenix, AZ distribution center. Shifts start early (4am, 6am, 11am) with Monday–Friday schedules and occasional Saturdays. Full-time and part-time options available.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Forklift experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• RF scanner experience or familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product shipments from trucks to shipping/receiving platforms.
• Pick, put-away and count product from/to racking in case or pallet quantities.
• Verify item, quantity, and location using RF scanner or pick label.
• Operate motorized equipment safely and properly.

We currently have a Material Handler position available in our Distribution Center in Phoenix, AZ. Wasserstrom has NEW MARKET PAY RATES!!!

This position is responsible for loading and/or unloading product shipments from trucks to shipping/receiving platform, picking/put-away/counting product from/to racking in case or pallet quantities, utilizing RF scanner and/or pick label to verify item/quantity/location to pick and/or receive, and operating of multiple pieces of motorized equipment in a safe and proper manner. Wasserstrom offers 1st shift starting at 4am, 6AM and 11am. Monday-Friday work schedule with Saturdays required when needed.

Full Time and Part Time shifts available!

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. and the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. 1 - 2 years previous forklift experience preferred but not required.
